Step 1: Open new image in PSP 400x400. Flood fill first layer with any color but yellow or green. This will make it easier to see your work. I will use white.

Step 2: Add a layer and grab your preset shapes tool with the following settings...

Step 3: Set foreground and background colors to #ffff00. Zoom in so that you can see better. Draw a tiny rounded rectangle for your first corn kernal. It should be very small like this...

Step 4: Select All and then float selection. Apply the following Cut Out...

Step 5: This is what it should look like...

Step 6: Keep selected and go to Edit>Copy. Then while holding down your ctrl key hit your L lots of times. This makes more kernals at the center of your image!

Step 7: Start with one center kernal and continue to place each kernal snuggly together like this...

Step 8: Keep doing this untill you have the shape of half an ear of corn like this...

Step 9: Turn of the visability of the flood filled layer and merge visable all the kernal layers. Your layer pallet should look like this...

Step 10: Select layer with the half an ear of corn. Go to Edit>Copy. Then Edit>Paste as new layer. Then go to Image>Flip. Posision the bottom half to match the top half like this...

Step 11: Don't worry about making it perfect. Just get it to look good. We will be adding leaves to the bottom of the cob so you won't see the seam. Merge your corn layers without the flood filled layer. Your layers pallet should look like this...

Step 12: Add a layer and grab your elipse tool with the following settings...

Step 13: Set foreground and background colors to #00c000. Draw an elipse half the size of yor corn image like this...

Step 14: Grab your pen tool and right click on green elipse and convert to path. Use with the following settings...

Step 15: Right click on the top node and change the node type to cusp. Shape like this...

Step 16: Do the same to the bottom node. Now you should have this...

Step 17: Select all on leaf layer and float selection. Apply the following Cut Out...

Step 18: Select the leaf shape and go to Edit>Copy and then while holding ctrl key down hit L 6 times. This gives you 7 leaves to work with! Posision like this...

Step 19: If you are having trouble make sure your layers pallet looks like this...

Step 20: Once it looks good to you, delete flood filled ` layer,crop it and tube it!
